Sign in with your Google account, give the event a name, and EventSnap creates a Google Drive folder, a QR code and an upload link for it. It takes under a minute. Print the QR code on a table card or show it on a screen.

Before. Create it as soon as you know the name, print the QR code, and uploads will start whenever the first guest scans. About a quarter of hosts set it up a week or more ahead so the code goes on invitations and table cards; the rest create it on the day. If you want the code to work only on the day, set an upload window with a start and end time.

Yes. One event has one QR code and it works for as long as you keep the event open. A three-day wedding or a week-long conference uses a single code.

Every plan includes one event. The Unlimited plan gives you unlimited events plus a permanent QR code you can reuse from event to event, which is what photographers, planners and venues use.

Yes, as the host. Guests do not. EventSnap uses your Google Drive as the storage, so it needs to connect to one Google account, personal or Workspace.

No. Guests point their phone camera at the QR code, tap the link, and an upload page opens in the browser. It works on iPhone and Android, and on any browser.

No. Guests never sign in to anything. EventSnap writes the files into your Google Drive on their behalf. This is the main difference from sharing a raw Drive folder link, which requires every guest to sign in.

Yes, to upload. Wi-Fi or mobile data both work. Guests can take photos all evening and upload later when they have a good connection; the link stays open. If your venue has poor reception, put the Wi-Fi password next to the QR code.

No. Every plan allows unlimited guests and there is no per-guest fee.

No per-guest limit. The free Starter plan caps the event at 50 uploads in total; paid plans have no cap on uploads.

By default guests can browse the event gallery from the upload page, which is part of the fun. The Unlimited plan adds Gallery Lock (guests can upload but not browse) and content moderation (you approve photos before they appear).

On Event Plus and Unlimited, yes. Guests can add their name and a caption, and uploads are sorted into per-guest folders in your Drive.

Every event also has a plain link you can text or share. When the link is shared in a messaging app, the preview card shows a scannable QR code as well.

Straight into a folder in your own Google Drive that EventSnap creates for the event. They pass through EventSnap only while uploading and are not kept on our servers. You own them from the first second.

Yes. Photos are stored exactly as the guest's phone took them, with no compression and no watermark.

Large videos are re-encoded on the guest's phone before upload at a lower bitrate while keeping their resolution, so a 160 MB clip becomes roughly 40 MB and finishes on venue Wi-Fi instead of stalling. Small, already efficient videos are uploaded as they are.

Photos: JPG, PNG, HEIC and WebP. Videos: MP4, MOV and AVI. That covers everything an iPhone or Android phone produces.

100 MB per file on the free Starter plan and 1 GB per file on all paid plans.

Yes. Uploads count against your Google storage, not the guest's. A free Google account has 15 GB shared with Gmail and Google Photos. In our data the median wedding uses about 0.4 GB and nine in ten stay under 2 GB, so a free account is usually enough; long videos are what push it up. If your Drive fills up, EventSnap notifies you and holds the pending uploads until you free space, then delivers them.

No. They are files in your Google Drive and stay there as long as you keep them. There is no gallery that closes after 3 or 12 months, which is the usual catch with other apps. See how EventSnap compares.

On Event Plus and Unlimited, uploads are sorted into subfolders per guest and per moment, and files are renamed so they are searchable. Everything is standard Drive folders, so you can move or share them however you like.

Yes. Every event has a live slideshow page you can open on a laptop, TV or projector. New uploads appear automatically with a QR code on screen so more guests join in.

Yes, from the gallery management view in your dashboard or directly in Google Drive.

Single Event is $9.99 one time. Event Plus is $16.99 one time and adds the virtual photobooth, audio guestbook and automatic organisation. Unlimited is $19.99 per month for unlimited events and a permanent QR code. Starter add-on packs from $2.99 extend the free plan if you only need a few more uploads.

No. Single Event and Event Plus are a single payment for one event with no renewal and no expiry. Only Unlimited is a subscription, and you can cancel it at any time.

Prices are shown in US dollars or euros and payment is handled by Stripe, which accepts cards from almost every country. If your card is in another currency your bank converts at its normal rate.

Everything travels over HTTPS, the files end up in your own Google Drive rather than on our servers, we do not sell or mine your data, and there are no ads. EventSnap is GDPR compliant and based in Europe. You can read the privacy policy and our independent reviews on Trustpilot.

Only the permission to create and manage files it created itself (Google calls this the drive.file scope). It cannot see, read or touch anything else in your Drive.

Yes. You can require a password before the upload page opens, which is useful for private events or when the QR code goes on a public noticeboard.

Yes, on paid plans you can pause and resume the event at any time; while paused, guests are told the event is not accepting uploads. You can also set an upload window with a start and end time so the code only works during the event.

Yes, with content moderation on the Unlimited plan. Uploads wait for your approval before showing in the gallery or slideshow.

Yes. EventSnap works anywhere Google Drive works, and hosts in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are among our largest groups. Prices are in US dollars or euros and your card is charged in that currency.

Yes. EventSnap is based in Europe, is GDPR compliant, and shows prices in euros for European visitors.

The site and upload page are available in English and Bulgarian. Guests in any country can use the English upload page; the flow is three taps and needs no reading beyond "choose photos" and "upload". You can also add a welcome message in your own language, and our QR sign wording page has "scan to share" lines in seven languages.
