🔒 Our Privacy Promise
Don't rent your memories. Own them. EventSnap never stores, reads, or processes your photos and videos. Every file that guests upload goes straight to your personal Google Drive, from their phone to your cloud, with nothing saved on our end.
1. Information We Collect
When you use EventSnap, we collect the following information:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, and Google profile picture (provided via Google OAuth sign-in).
- Event Data: Event titles, settings, and configuration you create within your dashboard.
- Usage Data: Anonymous analytics such as page views, upload counts, and feature usage to improve our service.
- Payment Information: Processed securely by our authorized payment partner. We never see or store your credit card number.
2. What We Do NOT Collect or Store
- ❌ We never store photos or videos uploaded through EventSnap.
- ❌ We never browse, read, or open the files in your Google Drive.
- ❌ We never sell, share, or make money from your personal data.
- ❌ We never use your data for ads or user profiling.
All media files go from the guest's device to your Google Drive folder through the Google Drive API. EventSnap just connects the two sides. We never touch the files themselves.
3. How Files Are Uploaded
When a guest uploads a photo or video at your event:
- The file is uploaded through EventSnap's secure upload flow and routed to your Google Drive via the Google Drive API.
- It lands in a dedicated folder within your Google Drive account.
- EventSnap does not permanently store, browse, sell, or train on uploaded media. We store only operational metadata (file name, size, timestamp, and upload status) for dashboard tracking.
- You have 100% ownership and control of all uploaded files at all times.
4. Google Drive Integration
EventSnap connects to the Google Drive API to create event folders and upload guest files on your behalf. Here is what we request permission to do:
- Create folders in your Google Drive, one for each event.
- Upload files into those specific folders only.
- We cannot read, delete, or change any other files in your Drive.
You can remove our access whenever you want from your Google Account Permissions page.
